Guide to Sustainable Living

http://mairedubhtx.wordpress.com
Global warming is not new, in fact it's on the news every week! Same old reports like melting of the glaciers and forest fires etc. This is done so that we are informed of the truth about the world. Who knows, 2012 might be it. But as along as we are still here. We still have the capacity to work on our current situation. We still have the power to change things back to normal, the way it used to be.

We cannot deny the fact that the Earth's temperature increases yearly, that's a fact and you've read it right! I suppose you're already experiencing it and we must act now. We must act the very best we can to stop global warming and avert potential dangers that may happen.

For those who still don't know yet, Global warming is a condition of the Earth wherein temperature increases at a much higher rate compare to the past. It may not have significant instant effects and maybe you will not be able to feel it but as time passes by, even a 0.5 degrees increase in temperature have an adverse effects on the natural systems of the planet such as seasons, ecosystems and life cycles. If we do not change our lifestyles according what the Earth wants, we will suffer all the consequences.

I will give you some examples of the threats of global warming

http://www.global-changes.com/global-warming-in-australia-a-climate-changing/
1.) Melting of the Polar regions
2.) Rising of sea level
3.) Ecosystem of plants and animals are changing
4.) Other species are dying
5.) Increasing bug infestations

With these factors changing abruptly and almost uncontrollable today, mankind is at risk! One factor to consider in this situation is the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere. This silent but deadly compound is above our skies since the start of industrialization. What it does is, it actually let the sunlight pass entering through our atmosphere but blocks it and preventing it to go out. Therefore, increasing the temperature of the Earth. But there are a lot more to consider and this is just an eye-opener for us.

This is what this blogsite is all about. We will try our very best to convey our message to the simplest explanation we can and help you achieve a sustainable living without having so much compromises about your daily lives. We will make sure that you'll still be able to enjoy your every day while helping our planet Earth recover from its disease.
