Top 5 Tips on Successful Vegan Meal Plan

http://vegetarian.lovetoknow.com/vegan-meal-plans
Your success as a vegetarian will depend on how well balanced your diet is and this will be hard if you just stick to your meal plan. Therefore, a key to a good diet is variety. Variation in your meal plan is very crucial and that you should never stick to one kind of diet. Instead, change your meal plan every week. Try to change fruits and vegetables and look for something that will really blend in your taste. I guarantee you that you'll experience great results in no time.

We have read on our past article Vegetarian's Bestfriends (Part 1) that a good balanced diet provides sufficient amount of protein, carbohydrates, fats, fibre and vitamins and minerals. Well you're very lucky because you've just got yourself a good site that will lay down tips on how to plan and keep your well-balanced diet plan!

Tip#1: TAKE PROTEINS AND CARBOHYDRATES

Always remember that protein and carbohydrates are your best friends here. Even though the popularity of low-carb diet is increasing, it is advised that you put at least fifty per cent (50%) carbohydrates in your meal. Don't be afraid to take these, they give you energy for your every day work. Learn to love them! Just don't abuse them. Everything that is too much will always be bad for you! Moderation is vital too!

Note: Don't forget that pulses and wholegrains already contain combinations of protein and carbohydrates.

Tip#2: FAT IS FAB!

Fat is your Best friend too! Yes! Fats give your foods extra taste, body, texture and palatability. As we have stated on our last article, fats give you nutrients that are essential for your body's maintenance and improves your overall health too! Just make sure to limit this to no more than thirty per cent (30%) of your daily meals.

Note: Don't forget to choose and only choose. I repeat, only choose UNSATURATED fats! (See Vegetarian's Bestfriends (Part 2) for more info about these.)

Tip#3: TWO COOK TO BE TRUE!

Boost your meal by adding at least two (2) different kinds of cooked vegetables (steamed, stir-fried, microwaved and roasted)

Note: Never boil your vegetables unless you're going to use the stock. Boiling your veggies will extract the good nutrients from your treasures!

Tip#4: FRUIT SALAD MEALTIME!

You can just prepare a large bowl of fruit salad! Yummy! BUT! use only low-fat/non-fat dressing. It will be all good. Oh so good!

Tip#5: PUT EMPHASIS ON THIS!

Variation, variation and variation is the key! NEVER STICK ON THE SAME MEALS! Experiment  and see what works with you the most.

Don't be afraid to mix and match, as long as you are taking sufficient vitamins and minerals, proteins, fibre, carbohydrates you'll do good! Anyway, they are veggies! They are made to keep you healthy! Nothing to worry about!
